Cooking mama lessson 1: French Onion Soup


brown onions, halved, slice thinly





melted butter in large saucepan;

cook onion, stirring, over low heat 30 minutes or until caramelised;





bring wine to boil in large saucepan, stir in water, stock and bay leaf; return to boil. add onion; stir occasionally.

20 minutes after, oven's ready

serve soup with puff pastry

180 degrees, 15 minutes
